Default our Fall Fiasco...

is finally here..we'll be heading out tomorrow morning for 4 day's of fishing, eating, drinking and having a good time. we should have close to a hundred and fifty people showing up for the weekend...We have the whole back section reserved at Brannon Island state park which is on the Sacramento river.
we usually target striper but our fall salmon run is just now showing up so most of us will be targeting them and there's been reports of 40+ lb fish being caught...

I'll have a full report and photos come Sunday/Monday...

I agree!
I got back into woodworking and my boat hasn't seen water (except rain) in two years. I used to fish Lake Michigan every weekend from ice out in the spring until the harbors froze up. Maybe next year!

Fred, have you considered inviting a few of us from your online family over to catch our limit of perch? Maybe that'll get the boat in the water!!!

Default what a great time we had...

can you belive that I caught the biggest fish of the weekend..
here's my 29 lb salmon...

check out the video and make sure the sound is up so you can hear it taking line...

here is the winner of the bass that I made.

she is the second woman to win one of my peices and they both have been thrilled...it just so happens that the lady to the left in the white sweatshirt won the rod rack at our last get together...
