the last visit I had with my Dad I asked if he could build a play castle for his 5 year old grandson. He told me "If you can find a pattern I will give it a go." So does anyone have a pattern or know where I could look for one? His Knights are approximately 1.5 inches tall. Thanks for any help Little twig |

I found this one online. http://store.woodstore.net/builbloccas.html I have a couple here at home that I got from a second hand store. I am not sure of the scale. Let me check, if they will work I will send you the book. I am also giving you a link to a none woodwork site. This is a papercraft site. I have ordered from them before. http://worldworksgames.com/store/ind...products_id=15 The link is Castleworks Ultimate. I purchased the villiage works for my son. They could easily be adapted to wood. Pieces are mix and match. They come in PDF format so you can print them as you need them. Email me if you have any questions.

I had more time to pass this morning so I found some more links. http://www.codesmiths.com/shed/toys/ http://www.outofthetoybox.com/c=MH51...uct/MAXDS80040 http://www.yourchildlearns.com/castle.htm http://www.mrmcgroovys.com/ideas.htm I have seen cards like these before and thought they would be a great scrolling project. http://www.2ndstartoys.com/toys/toys-knight-CAT2031.htm A dollhouse castle plan http://wayneofthewoods.com/dollhouse%20plans.html There are not many plans out there, and very few are free, I see a market for someone. If you did a pattern well enough you could even sell it to gamers. Warhammer anyone?

Did you manage to find suitable plans for a castle? If not, PM me - I might be able to help. Gill
