| I don't know about the fillet..... but a fish skeleton out of wood would be cool....
I did this as a recognition piece for a 16 year old kid who is a fishing fool and just made Eagle scout.... |

| Hi Sandy... this is the logo G-loomis was using for their fishing rods a couple years ago..
the company name has been removed because I can't afford to buy their fishing gear....

| the anniversary has come and gone and no word about the fish... now I know why I haven't heard anything...
I knew they were going away for the weekend so I though by Tuesday I would at least hear something..
On Friday I even posted a Happy Anniversary to them on our fishing message board and they had lots of replies...on wensday the guy posted a reply saying thanks to everyone and that he didn't recall ever mentioning anything about their anniversary and how did I know. we're not close freinds, we just belong to the same fishing group....
so right then I knew something was up....
I thinking he didn't get the fish and why? I did tell his wife that I wanted to keep the price quite and that maybe she thought I meant to keep the whole thing quite..
I just didn't want anyone to know that I only charged her $35...
so yesterday I sent her an E-mail and asked it Randy got his fish and how did he like it...
today I get a reply and come to find out...SHE DROPPED IT! broke the tail and top fin off...
she said that she got someone to glue it back together and not to worry, he'll never know! so now She'll be giving it to him on Tuesday for his birthday...
she also said that the check is in the mail....

| Good job you checked.
Sometimes communication isn't all it is cracked up to be.

| Trout, That's crummy how it turned out. Sometimes it really does seem like no good deed goes unpunished. (Or in this case, recognized). Now I, on the other hand, promise that I will take care of your artistry, and shower you with well-deserved praise. Sandy |
