We first learned about intarsia from Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher, a pair of self- taught artists now living in Tennessee who have been credited with the revival of this ancient Italian art form. Between them, they have more than 50 years of experience in the craft. They’ve authored books, created patterns, and produced videos all with the hope that the artistry of intarsia will never be lost again.
We’ll premier their first video – Introduction to Intarsia, on Monday, August 7th.
This video is a classic – one of the first, if not the first produced on the subject. We’re excited to present it to you. We’re even more excited that Judy and Jerry have promised to start producing new videos that will demonstrate different techniques and additional skills.
