After looking over Pedros site and seeing he is using Sketchup, I downloaded a copy.
Is anyone else out there using Sketchup...

O.K. Carl, no wisecracks, just a few questions. What is it? What all does it do? What do you think about it?

The commercial version is rather pricey but there's a free lightweight (and legitimate ! ) version here.

The folks over on the UK Workshop forum have a whole section dedicated to its use, if anyone's interested.

Sketchup is a 3D rendering program.
It allows manipulation on all dimensions.
I am pretty sure Pedro must use the full version.
He is meticulous with his work and wouldn't settle for anything less than perfect. That is a trait I could use!

My wife settles for less than perfect, look who she married

I downloaded Sketchup and played with it, when I desided to learn how use it, it said my time had run out. Couldn't open it again, so I deleted it.

Bob,
Did you down load the free version?
The free version Google Sketchup doesn't expire and has everything a person needs, unless your into major designing and such.

Paul,
Now I'm not sure what I downloaded.
Does anybody have the link to the free one?

Here you go Bob http://sketchup.google.com/.
I am not sure how useful it will be for making patterns but it is fun to play with
