I have just been to "LUMBER HEAVEN"...and it's only 25 miles away...

Sue, thanks for the tip on Southern Lumber...
They had it all, even in the differen't sizes...

now to order a couple new patterns so I can go back down there..

Trout.. you're very welcome..glad you got down there..I simply loved walking thru that store and dreaming of all that I could make with the wood they have...LOL..I don't think I ever got out of that store without spending a fair chunk of change..

I wonder if there is a Lumber Heaven in Southern Calif. it would be nice to find a place that has wood already milled down, that i could walk in an look at and take home. I do have the 1-ton truck and trailor.

Just be sure to fill up your rig with money when you leave home!
Honestly, it may be a good thing I live far from an easy source - that wood can really add up quickly. (and you can never have too much)
