Default nice catch...

we stay close to home on weekend like this, all the camp grounds are full and there are too many crazy people out on the water...
tomorrow were going to the fair and I'm hoping that the guy with the hawk scroll saw will be out there so I can try it out...

I'll also be unveiling my latest project tomorrow....

Ha Ha Ha Pete. well it might be a long drive. but just head out and just alittle past the frog pond, turn leaft. go past the telephone poles. turn right at the one with the signs on it. and go down just alittle , untell you pass the bush that has the turtal under it. and stop back up, then turn on the dirt road over the water ditch, and over the railroad tracks. then go about 900 miles till you smell the steaks burnning. I'll be licking my finguers. but don't worry I have one saved just for you.LOL oh but it might be alittle bit burned. Wheres JP when you need him.LOL just funnen. your friend Evie Happy 4th and watch those fire works. keep safe.

Happy 4th everybody. It is 97 degrees in the shade here in N. Texas at 1800 (6PM for you civilians). We have a big lake (Lake Texoma) about 10 miles north on the Texas/Oklahoma border and the boats from Dallas/Ft Worth have been streaming north for several days. I plan on a quiet holiday myself. Smoke my pipe (no comments please), drink a few beers, lay in my hammock and contemplate my navel. At my age, I've mostly "been there, done that" and have little need for whoop-te-do. But, for the rest of you "youngsters", I wish you a safe and happy fourth.

Hi Moon, it looks like its smoking in your area. its only 106 here at 4.52 o'clock. but dryer. so more talerabale. the lake you mention sounds great. wish i could just just jump in there right now. but i guess not. I too am slumming. to be honest. drinking alittle beer too. and dont worry I like to have a smoke or 2 or 20 with my beers. if you are like me at all. we have done what ever damidge already. worrying about it is worse. the stress will kill ya faster than the habbit. thats just my 2 cents worth. I think I will have a fatty old steak and potatoes to with my saled with blue chees. and a big old ovacodo on the side. latter i might even endulg in some old fashtion ice cream. with some limon meraing pie. and talk about finding the belly button. well. you know. I guess tommarow i will back in the sadale again. working on my saw. and eating and drinking right again. but for today. poop on it. If you can't come to town and have alittle fun, then dont come to town right. love ya my friend. Evie
