| This was posted once before but I think music along with scrolling evolves.
I like most styles when I am scrolling, classical is one of my favorites.
Magpie..I can live with some opera, but I prefer not to listen to sopranos. or castratos.
Funny how the mood of the music can affect the mood of scrolling.
Nothing like the Flight of the Valkyries when I have to meet a deadline

| I'm with Bob, I love the oldies, 1150 CKOC in Hamilton.
Especially Sunday mornings when they have Elvis hour, followed by breakfast with the Beattles.
Give me that ol rock n roll anytime, everytime.

| Marsha; That radio station 1150 from Hamilton, I think has a strong signal. When we were up in Erie & Conneaut Pa I could get it in at night. Do they play oldies all the time? Would they have a program times on the internet?
Nice to hear from you and your love of the oldies!

| Lonepine,
Yes they play oldies all the time, usually nothing more recent then the late
70's very little 80's. I'm sure they have a schedule on the internet. I never change the radio station so it's always on. I listen to Elvis hour at 8:00 AM. EST. and breakfast with the Beattles follows right after. It's my favorite 2hours of the week and lord help anybody who disturbs me.

| Country /Western and Bluegrass for me with an occassioal healthy helping of some 50's and 60's rock but none of the "acid" type.
If a song requires more than 6 chords on the guitar or if I can't understand the words, then I am not interested in it.

| I usually only play CDs when I'm doing other things in the shop - the noise of my saw drowns the music. Nevertheless, there's three CDs that get regular use: Abba Gold, The Best Of David Bowie 1969-1974, and The Best Of The Seekers.

| well once again, I am the odd apple on the tree.My CD of choice used to be rockin instrumentals ( like 'walk, dont run' ...'green onions'...'pipeline' ) but for the last couple years, hard rock! Like Rob Zombie, Metallica, stuff like that, its gets my juices flowing and pumps me up! The only country I ever listen to is Toby Keith, and some David Alan Coe. Dale |
