| I had an epiphany today. What is the difference between an Artist & a Crafter?
Although this question has been ask many, many times, I have never seen an answer that satisfied me. Today while I was out in the shop working on my newest chess pattern, I got to thinking what a great artist Diana is to be able to design these patterns that I like so much, and boink there was the answer to that age old question.
Diana, and all the other pattern designers are the artists who give me, the crafter, the tools to make beautiful things.
Thanks
Marsha |

| Marsha, since you seem to be in tune with the cosmic flow here, can you tell me where I've put my pin vise? Oh, and my pattern scissors....and my garden trowel? I haven't seen that in a very long time.

| Marsha, I like to take an end-run around the artist/crafter question by thinking of myself as an artisan. Folks are less familiar with the term, but I like to think of it as sort of a crafty artist. (And yes, I did just do this to muddy the waters! I love your epiphany) Sandy |

| Epiphany Epiphany is not a word we in West Virginia use often. Actually I've never used it because I don't know if I've ever had one. Is it painful Marsha??? LOL!!

It can give you a bit of a jolt when it crashes into your brain and makes you stop and think. I personally love the word epiphany, it sounds so intelligent.
Still laughing
Have a great day
