Default Sold my first piece

I think I want to cry.

I made Bubbles, the cow gumball machine. The pattern was on the back of the Meisel flyer (I think) I got a couple of months ago. I brought her to work, just because I thought she would be fun to have on my desk. Well, one of the women I work with wanted her for her nephew's birthday tomorrow. I would have just made her another one, but didn't really have the time. So I sold her Bubbles.

Now I have an order for another one. It's a great feeling to sell something, but I had a real hard time deciding. I know I could just make another one for myself, but it's still hard, especially with it being the first one.

Thanks for listening while I babble.

CONGRATS! Isn't it exciting when someone actually thinks you do work good enough they want to buy it? To me that's the highest form of compliment one can receive!! Who knows, you may have a new career making gumball machines! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Idiot me forgot to take a picture of the finished cow. I've got pics of it before I painted it. I'm going to ask if the person who bought it would please take a pic for me, so I can add it to my portfolio at home.

I need to get a few posted, it's just so SLOW with dial-up at home. It's awful. One of these days I'll get around to posting them. That's the only drawback I can find to living in the country, no DSL.

Congrats on the sale Kelly,

It's nice to know others think our work is good enough to be worth giving as a gift to a loved one

Regards,
Marcel

Hi Kelly
It is always nice when people like your work enough to buy it. I had a few people in the past think that my work was lazer cut.
