Talking Stupid Saying

I am sure we have all heard the expression "New and Improved"

Well, which is it?

If it's new than it cant be improved because it hasnt existed before.
And if it's improved it cant be new, to improve something would mean that it was something before, but now its better, hence the word improved!

I love it when people say this when your looking for something.

"It's alway's the last place you look"

Well no crap, you dont keep looking for something after you have found it!

Or there is the all time favorite.

"Life is so short"

Really, it's the longest thing anyone of us will ever do!!! What will any of us do that is longer than life?

Just something's I thought I would share with the group, hope you enjoyed!

Hehe,

Good one Kevin, but not unless you die pretty young.

And also because I asked to be incinerated after they harvest whatever someone else can use.

Regards,
Marcel (in favor of organ donation)

I am particularly impatient with the term "PIN Number", which translates into Personal Identification Number Number, and "ATM Machine", which is, of course, Automated Teller Machine Machine.
New or improved? Just doesn't have the same ring, does it?
Sandy
PS. I'm with you on the organ donations, Marcel - recycling is good!

Hey Kevin,

True about the mummys, but that is a special nasty process.

Involves scooping out the brain and other nasty stuff and then a special drying process. Not your average 'finish' job.

I was reffering to normal stinking decomp. Mind you, that's nasty too when you think about it

And what about : Parents telling their kids "Save it for tomorow". My mom used to say that; my boss calls it procrastination... Sheesh, go figure!

Marcel (Still have some of my brains, I can't be a mummy. Must be a daddy )
