|  web design question I'm trying to learn more about web design and was wondering if anyone knew what it's called when you mouseover something a new box comes up with additional info in it. Like it does when you mouseover a topic here, it brings up the first part of the message. Thanks cooter |

| funny enough it is called mouseover.  Text popup is another name. This is not the same as popups, which we have all come to hate. Here is a link for you to try.

| You might want to also look into Cascading Style Sheets. The mouseover would be the event that would trigger the object, and the CSS would be the object. Regards, Marcel
