Default I finally got back on...

First of all, I want to thank Rob for getting me back on line. Seems he was able to log on under my name/password but I couldn't. It has taken us almost a month to get me back on here and I thank you very much Rob. I have truly missed posting messages, although I had no problem reading them. My boss cut us off the internet last spring which is why I haven't been on here in quite some time, I did it at lunch & break. But it seems my job is being outsourced to India so I may have plenty time to get on here again. But I am not worried, as they say "When given lemons, make lemonade." I have made an outstanding contact at one of my shows last fall and we are working on something for her to carry my line in her military stores. I am also getting permission to go directly into a few gift shops at military bases. I am so excited about this year I think I may be disappointed if I am not downsized!!! IN the mean time I am stocking up on supplies - wood, blades - Mike, I will be getting in touch with you shorty for a good supply - and ideas & shows. I am planning on doing some shows in the Balto, NJ, VA, PA, DE area. So if you hear of any, military or not, I would appreciate any leads you can give me. I am already reapplying to DoverAFB, at which I kicked butt and met my contact, and Ft. Belvoir, VA. We are working on the new gift shop at Quantico as well as I have direct permission for Ft. Bragg. So as you can see, I am quite busy. I have missed "talking" to the ones I knew previously in here and will enjoy that again. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the SrollSaw show in October in Pa, as that week-end is one of my biggest shows. Perhaps next year, Bob, you can schedule it in the Spring? Fall is really the money maker for me and those of us who depend on craft shows income. Just a thought. Well, I have run on and on quite a bit. I have to check out my favorite wood supplier as he just got in some box elder that I want to look at. I'll post a pic of the dragon/castle I made for my daughter out of box elder. Absolutely beautiful - if I do say so myself!!!

Welcome back!
Those bosses can be demanding, fortunately, I taught mine how to scrollsaw and turn, so she lets me get away with alot at work.
