Talking news

Not so long ago I posted that our second grandchild is on the way. Well here is an update, it seems that our second and third grandchildren are on the way…you guessed it twins! We are still beside our self. Looks like Grandpa workshop will be hoppin’.

Congratulations Bill,
Now you can start to practice stack cutting everything - so you will be able to make two of everything, and have double the pleasure watching them enjoy Grampa's gifts.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for the congrats. I think we will have a double good time. Their sister will be 21/2 by the time they will get here and hopefully she will be out of the terrible twos by then ....Her mom hopes.

Thanks again, I'll continue the story when they come.

Red face 3s are worse than the 2s

Forester21-

I'm sure the 3's can be just as trying as the 2's, but it's been at least 20 years since I had to put with that. Now it doesn't seem too bad, after all I'm the Grandpa.

Can't wait to get them here.

Congrats.

My wife and I just had our first grand baby...August 4th.

Sawdust is flying for sure now.

Toy box is next project I've been told.

Congratulations! I'm sure every grandparent can relate to what you are experiencing though not in the double sense. You're sure going to have some fun.

Our grandson, Joshua is now four and is really into Thomas & the engines in a big way and when I found a train ornament pattern in last years holiday issue from Creative Woodworks I decided this was going to be this years ornaments from Nana. I have made & painted 14 so far (and even put their right numbers on them, I hope!!). I'll make enough for each day of Dec so he can open one a day till the big day.

Now I have to think what's appropriate for Hayley who is 20mths.

As they say grandkids are God's gifts for surving teenage years.
