Reregister

For some reason I had to reregister. I come to this forum every day and the other day I was asked to log in, which I did and it would not except my user name or password. (Which I have written down) I then asked for my password and was sent a number and that didn't work either. Why all of a sudden was I asked to log in? I never logged out. Mick.

What was your username? I can reset your password for you directly! PM me with your user name and the password you want. You can always go back and change it if you don't want me to know it!

There are two things I can think of that happened. One is that you deleted all your cookies. When you click "keep me logged in" the forum puts a cookie on your computer so you don't have to always log on. If you deleted your cookies, that cookie was no longer there, so you had to log in.

Also, as a security feature, the forum requires that you re-log in after a certian period of time. I don't know exactly how long that is, but it's happened to me a couple times.
