I am absolutely no good when it comes to intarsia but I was so taken with this project in issue 46 of our magazine that I just had to find a way to put it to use. The picture I posted is the results of my efforts. I hand painted a picture of my grand daughter, then cut the stork and bag and painted them also, then glued them to the frame. Not as beautiful as intarsia but I really like it. Thanks to Kathy Wise for the inspiration. Bubba

Wow! That's great. I like the hand painted photo and the addition of the scroll work is just plain beautiful. Congratulations on marrying the different art forms. I think it "works" great. John
