Default post some fractions and degrees

I remembered how to post degrees with Windows, but just learned how to post some fractions........just in case you wanted to know.

Hold down Alt and press 0176 to get degree symbol °
Hold down Alt and press 0188 to get fraction symbol ¼
Hold down Alt and press 0189 to get fraction symbol ½
Hold down Alt and press 0190 to get fraction symbol ¾
Sweeeeeeeet!

Thanks WD,
I know that there's a way to bring up a whole menu of odd characters, but I forget.

I wouldn't mind knowing the code for the little copyright symbol...

ÑÑÑÑÑÑÑÑÑÑÑñññññññññññññññññooooo! - I mean yes!

Sorry Hammer . Couldn't resist posting this reply. Of course it's easy when you use a Latin American keyboard

(Alt + 164 and Alt + 165) will give these two letters so long as you use the numeric pad on an extended keyboard. Also Alt + 0126 will give the tilde sign on its own

Note: These keyboard shortcuts won't work on a basic laptop keyboard where the numbers are in a line across the keyboard

Anything you want to tell us about? ♥♥♥♥

I know there is a chart out there someplace, but I was just playing around the keyboard the other day......doesn't take much to amuse me.

Just Googled alt codes and this came up along with others........

Thanks Jim. Should have just asked you outright instead of putting it out there like I did.
