Our club was on Chicago TV a few years ago, when we made over 1500 toys. It was our Toys for Kids program that caused me to stop fishing and make more toys. This year we made over 600 toys.

That is a great video. I am getting in the same spirit. I am going to make some wood toys through out the year to donate for next Christmas. My wife and I buy toys and other items through out the year to donate to under privileged kids. It is amazing the good buys you can get if you have the time to shop.

For three years I cut out 2X4 cars and trucks for the Marine reserve. They sanded and painted and added the wheels someone else made. Averaged about 2000 bodies a years until I wore out the scrollsaw. Good feeling.
