Default Added to my 'dot' aquarium

I decided since my other large 'dot' fish found new homes, I needed to try a couple more. Once again these are on the large scale, between 3'-4', and was cut out of 3/4" MDF with my jigsaw. Each one I seem to add more and more depth with them, trying to create more of a 2D sculpture. The dots on 'Stripes' was a bit of a challenge as I had to approach each of the different stripes separately, letting them dry and then dotting around them. Added a couple extra days to the painting, but I think the final results were worth it. Hopefully they will swim out of my shop and find a new home soon ;-).

Thanx for looking, any and all comments are welcomed.

Hey Kim - I'm with Jim, my patience would have broken long before completing one of the fins! Beautiful pieces that really do look spectacular!

Absolutely incredible.

I have to ask, how do you make those? And how long does it take to complete one? Years?
