Default It has been an interesting week!

We took some time off to redo our 20 x 16 great room. We pulled out the wood paneling and that led me to taking out the through the wall AC, which led to creative ducting to bring Central air into the room. By doing that we found that there was 1.5 inches of insulation in the ceiling. So I ripped out the ceiling which led to new electrics ,fan etc.
The first thing I did was drop a 20 ft cast iron baseboard radiator on my hand.
no emergency room hand has a hole in it but nothing broken. We then were carrying a glass table top which proceeded to explode in our hands, my wife got cut, no stitches required so no emergency room.
The final straw Monday afternoon I am cutting the grass and get severe pain in my lower left abdomen. Finally made it to the emergency room I have a really big kidney stone. So I sit at home waiting for it to take its final journey to freedom.

Rolf I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune. Wow you guys really got whammed pretty good. I hear the Kidney stones are quite painful...equivalent to child birth...I have 7 children and was present as each entered the world. I highly recommend going with the epidural...of course you don't get that option...bah. Go with the pain meds

Praying for a speedy and relatively painless passing. Throwing in a shout out for quick healing for your wife and your hand also!

Take care!!!

He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
And will trust in the Lord.

Wow Rolf, isn't that too much for one day? Hope you will recover soon and have not too much pain.

If it's any consolation Rolf I have curly hair my nose is more like a trunk and my hands are smaller than my feet if that wasn't bad enough, every time I sneeze it causes the Dow Jones to plumit. I hope your feeling better soon!

Well Rolf they say it goes in threes so your hand is one your wife's cuts are two and your stones are three. Hope that is the end of the bad luck. I know the stones can be very painful so hopefully they pass quick. Hope you feel better soon.
