Hi gang, wondering if anyone else would like to see a section dedicated to bowls and boxes? Initially I had thought about just bowls but Fran had the great idea to add boxes and I must admit they go well together. I see lots of people like to make boxes and with a new book about making bowls (thanks Carole) I'm sure it's going to garner a lot more interest as well as it becomes more readily available. I have already seen some great posts on boxes/bowls and would love to see all this info nice and tidy under a new dedicated section.

Thanks, sure makes it easier to find what you have read before instead of the search or going through a bunch of posts. Plus the ones that aren't interested don't have to wade through it all. How about Boxes, Bowls and Baskets Fran |

Interesting combo. Before I did bowls, I did baskets, and before that, boxes. I think maybe some people are drawn to making usable objects, rather than decorative pieces. I think it's a great idea, but then, I might be just a little biased . . . . |

great. Another subsection, at this rate we won't need general scrollsaw because everything will be so compartmentalized.

No more sections, I preffer to rumage around. When we get too specialized I tend to skip the other sections and end up missing some really beautiful work and great ideas. Just my opinion.

| American Crafstman | I wholeheartedly agree Rolf. As it is, I miss most of the stuff getting posted as the boards I look at are general scrollsaw, off-topic, bragging section and the business side so if it's not posted in one of these odds are I missed it. I have very limited time lately and just can't keep up with all the different boards. I noticed we had a compound cut board now too, not sure even when that started. Frankly, it's just too much. I've cut intarsia, compound, fret, portraits, boxes, puzzles etc. but I'm missing most of these as I just can't keep up with all the different boards.
