I can certainly understand. The hardest funeral I went to was for a 9 year old and I'll remember that little casket for the rest of my life.

Hi Ron - fortunately I've never been in the situation you describe but that doesn't stop me feeling for you and the family involved. Hang in there all of you. Sadly the grief abates but never quite goes away and you just have to try to find better thoughts to replace those that are currently filling your mind.

I can't imagine how painful that must have been, Bob. I'm very sorry to hear that.

Ron, hang in there. That's a tremendously horrible thing to go through. My prayers are with you and the family involved.

All are in my prayers too. There is little that this life can do to us that is worse than the loss of a child. Hold each other tight!

Man, I can't imagine how you and the parents feel. We have twin Grandkids......

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Like Bob, I can relate and my most sincere sympathy to the family and friends. There is nothing worse than losing a child. I know a huge part of me is gone after losing our only child last year and what remains is a shell of what once was me.
All I can suggest is to be there for them when they need it, but realize that it's not something that will go away.

My best.

Well said as well, Ray. And from someone who has had nine years to deal with it, I can tell you that while the pain never goes away, it morphs into something that you can deal with a little better.

Ron, our prayers are with the family & you at a most difficult time. My Step-daughter lost a son almost 2 yrs. ago & she is still overwhelmed by it. It is one of the most difficult things in life to loose a child. God Bless
