Default Long Distance Order

Hi Y'all, I received a phone call the first part of this week from a lady in the Outer Banks area of North Carolina. She was in WV visiting during one of my shows and purchased several items. So she called and placed an order for several more items that she wants for Christmas gifts. She also sent a check to prepay for her order and will be coming to WV to pick them up. This has been a big boost of encouragement to me and the quality of my work. She told me that it will be worth her trip instead of shipping the order so that she knows they will be safely handled. Steve

She will get a very good discount just for being such a wonderful customer. I do try to give my repeat customers a discount where I can. I price my projects to support my scrolling addiction and not to build a bank account. I also use reclaimed wood when I can. I have been collecting several logs recently given to me and will get a someone with a portable mill to come in and cut those for me. Steve

Congratulations Steve. Your work has always been amazing so it's no wonder the customers always re-order from you.

Nice story Steve. You know your work is appreciated when a customer is willing to travel so far for your work.

Congrats Steve! And, I know all to well about the 'safe handling' thing she spoke of. Not long ago I carefully packed up an extremerly fragile piece and mailed it. I did not want to mail it as I knew it was delicate, but had no choice, and yes, it did arrive broken but luckily the recipient was able to satisfactorily glue it up .
