Default Does this happen to everyone or just me?

When ever you drop something it rolls under something else even if it is 6 feet away and it is the last one of what you need. Or is you are working on a project and have a thousand nuts available you don't have the right size. You can tell what kind of day I'm having.

Or if you pull an extension cord or a hose along behind you it has to catch on every little thing.

I tested my quarter flipper today and it flipped the quarter out the shed door and vanished! Here the quarter hit something in the grass and ended up 9" under the shed. Go figure how that could happen? So your not the only one. LOL!

Chuck D sure your name isn't Chuck M for Murphy. I have the same problem have 2, 5 gallon pails full of dowels is there a 3/8 inch I need you bet your life there isn't. Had to go buy on for the project. Things always fall to the floor and go directly under the bench. That is not terrible but the getting down and back up is painful.

Yep, actually it happens so often I devised a method to finding said piece.

I take another piece, similar in shape, weight and girth and ... recreate the fall. Then I watch where it rolls.

Nine times out of ten it ends up next to, or very close to, the lost piece.

I tried doing the same thing with the second piece-now I have two lost pieces. My shop is only 8'X10' and I don't know were all the pieces go.
