Strange order - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

I finally got some shop time tonight. Halleluiah!!!!

I got the strangest order for a project yesterday that I've ever heard of. I was asked to make a coffin ......for a wedding. Huh???? The couple are having a Halloween wedding. All the guests are asked to wear costumes. They want a coffin for the gift table for people to put cards in.

I started on it tonight. Not much scrolling other than the card slot but I'm having a whole lot of fun with my new miter saw. I hope to have some pictures to post tomorrow.

i bet no one else gets orders like this,mind you i did read somwhere before ,of another person being asked too build a coffin,

Unique order indeed.

Type in pet coffins and you can find plans and hardware for them. Not exactly what you are making but might help or give some insight.....
