Default Scroller LTD catalog

Received the new Scroller LTD catalog today, and was just wondering why the pattern makers name does not show up with their patterns. I've notice only one name. What's up with that?

And a big congratulations to Janette, and Bruce for their wolf intarsia making the cover photo.

They use our initials in the item number of the pattern. I am CD, Jeff Zaffino is JF, Sue Mey is SM, etc
On a side note I ordered some Jeff Zaffino patterns and some were just enlargement's of the pictured pattern. Very choppy and grainy. Very disappointed.

Charlie, thanks for the info. I, too, received the magazine and I was wondering about the quality of their patterns.

I had a couple patterns from them that were really poor photo copies too. Others were just fine.

By the way, the patterns in the animals book that I bought from you are excellent quality. I love the way you do your patterns, Charlie!

I noticed that several of their patterns had been in the Creative Woodworks and Crafts magazine (particularly some of the Christmas ornaments) recently. I wouldn't dream of buying something that I already have.

Thanks!

I don't sell patterns through Scroller but Bruce does. The quality of the pattern you get is not representative of the catalog. They "buy" the patterns from the designers, so it is the designers that make, print, etc. and mail finished patterns to the catalog. I know I've ordered from them in the past and the patterns can vary greatly - totally depending on whose pattern it is. Some are more conciescious of the quality than others I guess.

Can't wait to see the cover! By the way for some of the patterns, I know BW is Bruce Worthington, LC is Lucille Crabtree, KW is Kathy Wise - those are the ones I know of off hand.
