Finished another 8 feet of the deck. Only 12 more feet to go. Sounds like a lot. But the deck is only 42 inches wide. With a 5 foot x 7 foot section at the porch. Its at the front of the house and will be used mostly to put flower pots and such on. I'll send a picture when finished and the house gets painted......... ( Honey do item #123,486)

OK. I finally have the decking down on my deck. All that is left is the hand rail at the steps. Man this Texas heat has dried me out so much I am farting dust...... Pardon my parched lips.

Sounds like a massive project Pete........I suspect you would rather be making sawdust in the shop. Be glad to send you some of the 21 days of June rain we had, to cool you off. July 1 and it's still raining, but not complaining, I could be building a deck in sweltering heat. Eeeegaddds what a thought, me building a deck. Yikes!Looking forward to some pictures.

Hey Pete, I hope its not too hot down there.I sent Casey to Palo Pinto Saturday for Scout camp (against his will---he said it was too hot).Make sure you get plenty of water in ya before you tackle the painting-might cut down on the dust .Jerry
