Default Vacation Memories of Estes Park, CO

We spent the better part of a week in Estes Park, Co during the elk mating season. Man the bull elk has one ugly mating call. It is a wonder that female elks don't run competely out of the country. It scared the living daylights out of us when a 12 point bull started calling his girl friends at 5am just about 100 feet from the back door of our cabin. After I crawled out from under the bed, I figured out that it was an ELK. LOL

The cutting is simple but will always remind us of our Sept in the Rockies.

Nice looking scrolling Darrell.

I took my daughter on a road trip vacation out west in 1997, a few weeks prior to her leaving for Army boot camp. We spent two of our days in Estes Park. What a beautiful, serene spot. I wanted to move there but my wife would have no part of it.
