Just wanted to brag a bit. The oldest daughter and her hubby brought a pretty precious 9 lb, 10 oz baby girl into the world this morning. I'm now, for the first time, the proud Grandpa of a little girl named Rory.

At least it justifies the grey beard. LOL

Tom (aka f250) thinks I need a cane and/or walker now though. LOLOLOL

Congratulations Andy. Now you can spoil her with woodworking presents.

When she is older, you can spoil her with sweets and then send her home to mom and dad

Congrats Andy on this special occasion. I agree with Dragyn about the spoiling part But if you're like me you won't want to send them home. I wish mine just lived here with me all the time. I can't get enough of them and you'll probably be the same way. God bless you and that little princess. David

THIS REMIND ME OF WHAT MY DAD ALWAYS SAID WHEN I MADE HIM A GRANDFATHER...

"GRAND PARENTS RIGHTS ARE IN EFFECT. I GET TO TAKE THEM OUT TO THE PARK FEED THEM CANDY POPCORN ECT. PLAY WITH THEM FOR HOURS ON END LOVE AND ENJOY THEM SPOILING THEM ROTTEN AND THEN I GET TO RETURN THEM TO YOU TO DEAL WITH..... PAYBACK "

I must go along with hummer about Grand Parent right or rules they are always in effect. Ant when she is old enough to want that toy that makes lots of noise get for her and send it home. If your Daughter ask why jsut say Grand Parent rights/rules. Evelyn and I have 10 Grandkids how and it's great. Congrats to all

that is what my wife and I do too. Spoil the little guy and then send him home to my daughter. The thing is that he is the only grandchild on both sides of the family so he really gets spoiled.
