Default Wow...

Well, for those who recall the woman in my life from Australia....
She was on her way to see me Halloween night...on the way she was struck on her side and broke her leg. Her other leg had already been amputated in a train accident. She has been in the hospital here for about two months now dealing with that leg and some other health issues. Recently a nurse there forgot to raise her bed rail and she fell out of her bed, breaking both arms and internal bleeding. They didn't bother to check her head!! She suffered a major stroke yesterday....she is now only being kept alive by life support. No brain activity in 24 hours. She will be given to the angels in the next day or so. I simply don't have the words....I am so numb right now.............She was only 23 years old...

A part of me wants them to wait and see if she somehow comes out of it, but realistically I am told when no brain activity for this long, there is pretty much no chance of recovery. This doesn't feel real..... like a nightmare I want to wake up from...............
