As a retired soldier after twenty years of service, I know the excitement a soldier feels when coming home to loved ones after an extended separation. But I have never been on the other end as none of my children have ever been more than 15 minutes away from us. I am so happy for you both. Please give him my regards and a HUGE thank you for his selfless service and dedication to his country. ( I wish there was a smiley who could salute).

Bubba

Excellent news. Glad to hear this as someone said--especially at this time of the year.

On behalf of all of us he served so well, please tell him the third hug is from the woodworkers of world. (Figured the first was for Momma, Dad gets one and then we can get our welcome worked into the fray)

My son-in-law will be home in two weeks as well if all goes as planned. He will be here for the birth of their first child. What a great feeling to have them coming home. Please thank him for his service and let him know he is appreciated.
