Seems like awhile back someone was having problems ordering from Steebar. I could be wrong though. Have you ordered from them and is it good plywood without plugs and voids? Most suppliers that I buy from get much more than that for a 1/8" 12" X12" piece but it is good on both sides with no voids.

I seem to remember that too. You might want to google them first to see if the complaints have been remedied. You can try Sloans, they are dependable, great service and deliver pretty quick.

Thumbs down

On another forum I am on (Penturners.org), Steebar has garnered a less than stellar reputation. This stems from poor delivery, lack of vendor communication, and credit card charges before delivery. You might want to check the New Jersey BBB for further details.

Go with Sloans they are an absolute pleasur to deal with.
But in all fairness maybe Steebar is trying to sort things out.

Glad I read this thread all the way through. I was ready to jump on an order right away.

BTW, I just checked the BBB site, and in April they had 19 complaints, and now they have 52.

Ouch, that's a lot of complaints. I don't get that many unless the wife is inspecting the house after I've tried to clean it up...
