We just finished our annual vacation to Vegas and drove back the Northern Calf/Southern ore coasts and thought i would share a couple pictures of why we love that windy tsisty road!! At one time on If in oregon we could see Mt St Helens, Mt Rainier, Mt Adams, Mt Hood and one of the Sisters. have lived in this area all my life and never have i seen that many snow capped mountains at one time. . and alas no camera ready. .!!

That twisty road is one of the best in the states for the view. The last time I was in California we came bck from San Francisco all the way up. That first bit from SF was not fun with my quadcab dually and 32' fifth wheel. But that is a road that all should put on their wish list to drive. It is beautifull.

Welcome home, Grover. Sounds like you had a great trip.

I haven't done that whole drive, but what I have done was gorgeous. I'm with Alan that the Marin part of the PCH is awful in a truck (my first attempt was in an SUV pulling a U-Haul. I'm getting sick just thinking of it), but it'd be a blast in a real car.

The Oregon and Washington coasts are just insanely gorgeous.

Grover those are some beautiful pics! We recently got a 34 foot RV as well and are looking forward to seeing our beautiful country. We have been on the Nachez Parkway and that was scary but beautiful to see. Thanks for sharing.

G'day Grover, That is some beautiful country.
Quite a few years ago we doves across the Nullarbor Plain to the Eastern States took some interesting shots of the shoreline.
If I can find the pics I'll post them one day.

Glad you made it home safe and had a great holiday.
