Default A wet Monday

G'day all,
Hope you have a great week, with plenty of pleasant surprises.

During the week we had a couple of real warmies, with the temp up around 37o C.
But would you believe that yesterday (Market Day) it dropped to about 11o to 15o C with a very lazy wind.
The jackets had to be dragged out again.

I was very happy with the markets, even with the cold, we sold more than I had anticipated and ended up having a great day.
It started to drizzle just as I pulled into the yard at home, and hasn't stopped raining since.

The rain may make things a bit miserable, but living where I do, you never complain about it as it's always welcome.

John<
Here in Indiana, Old Man Winter is beginning to throw a few tenative inquiries our way. Pooh would have called today "blustery", but when I came out of the grocery store today and saw the snow flying, I got to thinking of my poor old Hitachi sitting out in the shed cold and lonely with so much left to do prior to Christmas. I'm hoping for a few days in the 50s soon so I can get finished for this calendar year.

I got a little ambitious with my cut list and put off a couple of things that are seasonal, but I had a good time doing the other things, so all is not lost.

If I can get a large enough area cleared in the garage, I'll move the saw in there and the heat from the clothes dryer will make it tolerable to saw again.

Hi John, thanks for starting the week with another smile. We might get a little bit of rain but its the reason we can take pictures like this. This is my grandaughter sitting in front of a Douglas Fir tree.

Mornin' John, wet in your neck of the woods is good. 37C is not. Body temp air is not comfortable. Here in northern New Jersey, we are due for our 1st hard frost tomorrow or wednesday morning. Only a month late but, oh well, better late than never. Guess I had better get the last 80 bulbs in the ground today. Have a good week.

The kids were hoping for a snow day today.... (Happy Dance) but the roads are all plowed and they had to catch the bus!

Yesterday we woke to almost a foot of snow, wet heavy yukky snow. Yep, can you tell I'm NOT a winter person.

The only good part was that I got to start up my new 33", (342cc Briggs and Stratton) Yardman snow thrower... giggle... I feel like Tim the Tool Man from Home Improvements.... MORE power.....

Sue laughs cause you can barely see me over the handlebars and chute.

Take care
Toni

Damp and foggy here this Monday a.m. They keep saying sun and cloud but it's been foggy for the last 3 days. Oh, well.

Hi John,

Here in TN it is just above freezing, but the sun is shining so it should warm up into the 50's.

Good day John,
We had a front bring lots of winds and and freezing temps. Lost some of our garden but the broccoli is doing great. Should be back to normal temps by mid week. Enjoy your week.
