Default Congratulations Breakie

G'day Ray,
Congratulations on the new Grandson Mate.

Just think of all those toy trucks and cars you make.

Regards to Mum and Dad.

Thanks John.. and Toolman...

yeah... plenty of little 'things' to separate hard wood from the sawdust over the next years, eh..... and maybe a 'little bloke' who can carry on, too.... Hehheheh.

Y'know, 'they' say that passions and interests often skip a generation. My daughters never showed the slightest interest in 'my workshop stuff'... nor in my musical instruments or love of Jazz.......... But now, ) , there's a 'New Chance'.

And, this little guy is gonna be _Showered_ with puzzles and boxes and 'things' to mess around with .... Hopefully , to arouse some of the passion that I still have for such..))

Thanks for the response to my 'news'.

And, John.....I liked your little 'bear/boy' thumbnail. I'll make something like this for his room...... Though his Mum ( my daughter) is rather 'minimalist' ( bloody hell)--- ( I'm 'stuff everywhere'!!! ).... This might be good, though. Often kids soak up what their parents suppress..... More power to him with my stuff, down the track, eh !! )

best wishes,

catchy's around---

..... Ray.

Hey Mike....

Now _that's_ a Great concept !!!

Maybe 'those in touch' could have a word to the Production Controller. )

Thanks for the words, Mike... I gotta admit, there's an added Motivation and change in direction in my 'Project List' )

.... Ray.

.
Hehhehheh.... Gees, didn't think a bunch of blokes would respond as you have to what was, initially, just an aside on the 'new addition' to the family. Thanks for your thoughts.

And...really like the doll's house anecdote, tomsteve .--- I gotta confess I've made a small puzzle even with its own suede leather bag for 'later on'.......geez.. 'the kid' is just a couple of days old !!! )

As for a pic, Tom: Sure thing !--- But I'll have to 'figure-out' how to attach one to a post ( unless y'got time to run me through it ??).

As well...I've collected a few _great_ projects from Steve Goode's "Scrollsaw Workshop" site and videos--
---- Geez this guy is a legend in his own time !!!!..** SO excellent !!!**.. And his instructional videos are the BEST !!!----

Some of these projects are well up my 'things to do' list. .... my Dance Card is getting quite full !!! )

In about a week a mate is bringing me back some Paui shell from New Zealand that I'm really looking forward to. ( I asked about blades for this, earlier). Some little scrolled animals and an inlaid box are just 'starters'.

..... so much to do and so little 'time' !!!

... catchy's around the dust and shavings and 'stuff'...

.... Ray.
