i was watching a show on the discovery channel called american hot rod,and being a fan of the show,i decided to check it up on the net.what a shocker.......i only found out that boyd coddington,the bloke who designed the cars for the show had passed away.being a big fan of the show i was shocked.he passed away last february,and i only knew now.we will miss him.
rest in peace boyd....................

That is news, that guy was an amazing talent with cars. His tv show was like so many shows these days just one big argument and fight like the chopper show. But he will be remembered as one of the leaders in custom car building.

I have not watched the show for awhile either. Boyd had an Amazing Talent with cars. RIP Boyd. Wonder if they had a special casket for him.

Boyd definitly was a talent (may he rest in Peace)but he sure was a butt head on the show and didn't treat people very well. I would like to think that most of that was hype to try and make the show more interesting.
I personaly like Chip Foose's work better. All of those guys make that stuff look so easy.

I don't think that the person portayed on the show could of built up the company to the level he did. Its a pity that so many new shows have to have several fights per episode, I just turn them off.

I could never have worked for the guy. I thought Duane was a Butthead.
According to the web site Chip Fosse and Jessie James are alumni of Coddingtons.
