Instant Email Notification

That is how I have my setting in Edit Options in the User CP .
It has always worked fine up to a few days ago but now no emails are coming through from the threads that I am participating in.
Is it just me or are others experiencing the same thing.
Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello Mr Young,
I haven't received any email notification, since I registered, although I have subscribed to two threads, and mentioned somewhere that I wished to be instantly notified of new replies. Just as I usually do in other forums.

up till today, I have recieved all the emails. I have a new searver, and wondered if it would work, becouse I am stil using fire fox, for my engine server, mmm did I say the right. but so far so good. so I have 2 email places. sooo the one I have listed at this forum is working, so far, your friend Evie

Same here.
I have double checked my settings and applied them several times. . Still no go.
Any other site using the same software sends me email notifications if I set them that way so it isn't a matter of not knowing how to set it. .

I just noticed, I'm not getting subcription e-mails--but then again, I'm only looking at one thread presently.

If you have the option checked on that you want to receive instant emails to threads you are involved in then you should have got that email by now seeing as I answered.

I am surprised that there are so few answers to this which makes me think that the problem is only localized to very few. .

A change was made a while back about some of us getting the done but with errors on page notice every day and that worked real good to eliminate that problem so I was just wondering if there could be a setting that could correct this email notificarion thing as well.
If not, then I will just click on New Posts any time I log on to see if there are any replies .

I don't know if this is the reason Bill, but today is Sunday and participation usually falls off quite a bit.

No , it wasn't that . I can read all the posts on all boards when I log on .
It is just that I have my settings for instant email notification only for the ones that I have participated in. What I mean is that I should have got an email notification to your reply above this one or from any other replies in this thread but I have not and I will not get an email notification if anyone else replies. I will only find if there are any replies by opening the thread which I just did.

Apparently everyone else is getting their notifications or they would be saying that they are not .
It's no big deal. Just one of computers little mysteries where I can set notifications on all other sites in the same manner with the same software and they work but this one doesn't anymore. It worked fiine up until about three or four days ago and then it stopped sending them.

Bill, I have not been receiving instant email notifications since Friday...
