Hi minowevie,
No Copiers expert here...

A far as my copier is concerned, setting the zoom value to +100% isn't enough to get a bigger copy of the original. I have to make sure the paper I'm feeding into the copier is at right size too (ie bigger. In other words : Copier machines do not know whether we want a bigger print of the whole original (in this case we need to give it some blank paper higher in size), or if we just want a particular area of the original to be zoomed in on a paper that has the same size as the original (That's the case where you will be loosing some of the pattern) .
Anyway, look for some Size Selecting button on the copier's control panel. it should show values like A3 or A4.
A4 is standard 210x297 mm size paper.
A3 is bigger (twice as big in fact) than A4 with its 297x420 mm.

Depending on Copiers you may have to manually feed the new (bigger)size paper into the machine, if there is no specific paper tray to load it.

I hope this makes sense too.

Best Wishes,
fEZ.

At Staples they have the self serve machines, but they also do it for you for the same price. They might not do it as you wait but most times they will. They can also change the colour for you. They also can make bigger copies than the self use machines can do.
It is cheap either way.
And yes most of you guys can get your computer to do this stuff, but for us dinosaurs this works for a few cents a sheet.
Most copy places are picky about copyright material even when you show them the magazine that says 10 copies is ok.
When I do a big project a single piece might span 3 pages so I need a lot of copies to tape together and cut so the 10 copy rule is a problem for me. So I trace it out and take the traced pattern in to them.

Hi Evie . What type of copier do you have ? I have a HP PSC 2355 all in one printer. I can only work on a letter size 81/2 x 11 . It will take a larger longer paper but I have to change the settings on the printer . I can press certain buttons which will get me to the sizing spot on the printer .When I get stuck I either consult the manual or go to the help center which the computer is hooked too. Someone with the same copier will be sure to walk you through . LOL .
