Default Proof that I am alive and well

Aloha All,

It seems that it really isn't possible to leave this wonderful place permanently (not that I tried.) I am indeed well, just had some things going on that made getting things done challenging. In the interests of not needing asbestos longjohns I will only say that mercury seems to have had a significant part in that.

I also got a website up, although it is only version .02. Don't worry if that doesn't make sense. You should still be able to enjoy the site (or what there is of it.) The address is Fine Art Marquetry .

Tor

Your website is coming along, although the completed piece you show comes up a little dark on my screen

I have just looked up your island and wow - paradise or what? You lucky fella! Have a lovely birthday.

Yes Sue, I am very fortunate to be living in such a wonderful place. Good to be back here again among such good friends. As for the picture, I am kind of aware of that, and will be fixing it at some point.

Yep, good to see you, and happy birthday too. You ever figure out how to marquetry that pen?

Dave, I hopefully won't have things like that happen again. I see you have reached (or almost reached, depending on what you counting leanings are) the 1k mark.

Jeff, I got one half of the pen done, but the equipment for gluing it got put away before I did the other half, and I haven't gotten it out again. I still think it will be nice when I do.

Hello Tor, Very nice work you do. I have never tried marquetry, but have several friends on the Main Land that love doing it. I see you are living on Kaui...not that far away from you, I am on the Big Island.

Good to see you back Tor. That's one thing about friends ... they take off for a while and are always welcome back. Good start on your site. Will keep checking for updates.

Andy
