| A post about nothing Ever have one of those days that just doesn't go right from the moment you get out of bed in the morning.... yep - I'm sure you have... we ALLLLL do.
I should have known, getting up and stepping in cat puke, I should have just wiped my foot and gone right back to bed... but nooooo.
I had planned to get in the shop today and work on a long overdue project but when I brought the pattern in the shop and Sue, already hard at work, agreed with a last minute change to the design ... I was back at the drafting board.
Drawing brought about thinking, and well ... that's not always good for me. LOL.
The kids will be back at school next week, and I can't help but wonder where the summer went. I didn't accomplish much in the shop when I look at the pile of sketches on the table. Granted the weather here was crappy, and I had to spend a couple weeks away with my son, so there was no vacation or time to bring the kayaks out this year...The kids just walked in the and told me to go watch their video on You Tube ... it's obvious THEY had WAY too much time on their hands this summer. WARNING - their dance has nothing to do with scrolling.....
I sold a snow machine today, and couldn't help but think I'd regret it. The leaves on our trees are turning to their fall colours and the nights are getting down pretty cool. I guess if it snows soon, (all due to selling the snow machine no doubt,) I'll be in the mood for those holiday projects some of you here have already started.
LOL, see I told you it was a post about nothing, but ya read it anyhow.
Thanks for the break in the day.
Take care

| Tonie, I dooooo know what you mean, I don't have a cat in the house, but do have my puppys. they don't poop, but do drag in lots of catuse stickers. and lay all around the bed, dark as they are, I have to tip toe not to stip on them. Trip, fall , cuss, you know. then the day starts with some bad wheather. Hot as heck hear. and getting hotter. seams like fall would be a good change. my trees are turnning colors as well but not fall colors. they are just getting burned to a crips. then the shop, how well I know that. exsited to get my project done, and dang the finish is covered with flys. and dust hairs. sand sand sand, then it lunch, and then dinner. doesn't anyone else know how to cook,
Say what, holliday projects. don't they know it is 110 out side. like I could make snow . hahahaha. just wonted you to know. we are reading your post. and feeling what you mightbe feeling. even in the usa. but still have the pc. and friends that cair. and all is good. Evie |

| G'day Toni,
You've discovered my secret to getting to the 2000 postmark, Damn
Boy Oh Boy, you blokes don't have much warmth in your part of world. it only seems like yesterday that you were posting pics of snow. Brrrrrrrrrr
We have 2 dogs and are currently looking after a neighbours while he is away working so there are three Land mine laying machines running around in the back yard.
Gotta get the spade out 1st thing in the mornings or, well you can guess, especially with a 3 year old tearing around. |

| Wow, I sure can understand the drama. Sorta like getting up early to arrive at work a few minutes early in order to get a jump start on the day, only to have your boss say " I'm so glad you're early. I could use some help." Well that turned into a days project. What happened to the "jump start" I was going to get on my own work? I guess it will be waiting for me tommorrow!

Been there with the cats, yuk.

| Thanks for the reply guys! LOL
Yes indeed I wish I had half the energy the girls had in the video, and it is kind of obvious they liked the big box stores isn't it? I hadn't thought of it till you mentioned it.
As for being in that video, nope .... ah ...not our style of dancing. Giggle. Somedays when they are really lucky Sue and I will play "rock band" with them, but that isn't very often. The drums I can manage, the guitar I always fail, and our pet raven, and the dog think I need back ground singers so you can't hear me anyhow.
Take care
Toni
