Default Rilfe Cartridge Pen Display Stand

I asked Les Elm if he minded if I copied his idea of a piece of antler rack as a display stand. Of course he said sure . . go ahead.
This display stand will be used solely for my 30.06 rifle cartridge pens.
Thanks Les.

So this is my version of one like that .
Now all I need to do is to make up a hunters special sign to put in front of it .
Sometimes good display is half the sale and this display should get the attentions of any hunters within sight of my craft sale display tables.

Well I guess you've mastered another project Mr. Young.......looks great. I've been following the thread about the rifle cartridge stuff at your forum, and knew it would not take you very long to master it. Those sure are very nice pens. Good luck with the sales.

Beauties Bill!!! Display is nice as well.

I need to try a few of those. Wonder how "easy" it is to get on an airplane with one in your briefcase????????

That's awesome, both pens and the display. You sure do fine work and I'm so glad you are posting pictures and showing us as often as you do.

Went to the Farmers Market/Craft sale this morning . It is only a four hour outdoor sale. I brought home my average take of $417.00 clear after expenses..
I only had seven cartridge pens ready to take with me (apart from all my other pens ) .
Three with the center bands sold first and then three more without . I only had to bring one home.
I will definitly make a bunch more of those for the pre-Christmas indoor craft sales

I would really be interested in making these type of pens...My husband and I are avid hunters and most of all of our friends are too...I think they would make perfect gifts and maybe even prizes for our annual sportsmen meeting...Can anyone tell me where I can get the info on making these beauties and where to get the supplies...I know the spare room is full of rifle cartridge (not sure if you have to buy them or not) Thanks so much

William,
IMHO. The whole pen turning thing (not just yours). It just doesn't do anything for me. But using a rifle cartridge. Now that's an eye catcher. Way to go!

Thanks .
I am still photography challenged which makes my work look not as good as it is in the hand but I'm working on improving that.

Deer antler top , 30.06 cartridge bottom , rifle clip rifle clip and standard Euro pen center band. There are various ways to make them.
