Default Announcement, please read

Hello all,
I ran this by Bob D (the editor) last week. After a couple of emails, he said it was a good idea, endorses it and said to add his name to opening statement so you all would know we talked and this is not a scam. That all said, here is the deal.........
I am running a golf outing that will benefit Toys-for-Tots. The participants are my co-workers (my full time job) and people in their families. For those non-golfers in here, my job as a golf outing coordinator, is three fold. One, run the event without a hitch (couldn't be done without my wife). Two, collect door prizes and gifts for the golfers (that's what makes them want to play and donate their money), and most of all collect money/toys for the kids. This charity is very dear to my heart. It wasn't there for me and my mom when I was a kid and she could have used it. I said long ago that I would put a smile on at least one childs face every year at Christmas. I am happy to report that I have done that for 17 of the last 20 years (not 98-2000). This is my latest effort, and if all goes well, I will stick to this method every year.
So, why all this blah blah blah... I asked Bob if it would be to foward of me to tell everyone here, and if anyone wants to donate, not to the golfers, but for the kids, by all means let's do it!! Bob said go for it, so here I am. Any one, any one at all who wants to donate, please contact me. I will give you all the info via private message or any other means of communication you wish. The event is Sept 9. I will be giving the USMC all the toys and money on that day.
Thank you for your time, and bless all of you who can help.
Mike
