Default What I've been doing...

I got these made up for a little sale tomorrow. I don't have a lathe so I'm making them on my drill press. Thanks for looking.
Chris

Chris, those are amazing, especially considering they were done on a drill press. Care to share your technique?

I don't have a lathe but I do have a good drill press. I am interested to know how this is done.

Chris,

That is really nice work considering you have no lathe.

Congrats on a job well done.
What finish do you apply on them?

Regards,
Marcel

Way to go Chris.
I had one of those drill press lathe attachments before I got a real lathe and I know how much you would appreciate a lathe over using that . I made the six spindles for the top of my Dome clock with one of those Drill press attachments. I sold it after I got my lathe.
Nice work and good luck at the sale.

Chris (thecopperfish) you did one hell of a nice job on those pens using the drill method. Hope you sell them all except the first one. You are keeping the first one arn't you?

This is the drill press lathe attachment that he is using.
They are quite reasonable in price but you need a drill press that is big enough that it has slots in the table for mounting it.
I know when I was selling mine several people wanted it but their table would not accept it.
