Smile saw blade

I did it now, my finger would'nt get off the bid button on e-bay, i just bid on a rbi-hawk 5 inch pinless blades and i put a bid @$30 dollers for 100 blades and 25 holders , for that price , my brother and i can make it to fit my craftsman 16 inch, and my brother a machinst ,and we can figure a way to make fit, too me that's cheap for new blades for size from 2 to 9. Well see in a few days but i'm not going over $30, it's holding at $26 right now.

Smile update

Opps i put in a bid at $54 max still cheap i think,, but as i go thru blades i think thats still cheap, i look at the site at rbi and i can buy 12 @ $1.59 so mayby i did get taken, the holders are plastic type veils with screw top's and buy them $0.29 cents each at my woodsmith store,but the ones at the woodsmithstore are press in plastic tops ,very hard for hands to grip to get top off,and the owner took a piece of oak and drill'ed holes in a the wood 4 inch wide 7 inches long , nice bevel looks nice the way he did it,so ya i might got taken , but i haven't that much fun long time, i think i need to get out more , hehehe.

That's good news tool man. Those plastic holders are junk and would have come back to bite you in the you know what. They give up and explode during use. Far as the blades go, I am not sure if it's 100 blades or 100 packs of 12 blades each. If it's 100 blades, then the winner got taken to the bank on that. I buy blades by the gross, which is 120 blades, and it doesn't cost that much...I can't recall right off hand but It's in the $20-25 range. Those blade holders where recalled by RBI, so they weren't worth the plastic they were made of.

Toolman;
You might want to look at mikesworkshop.com He sells top quality Flying Dutchman blades for $27.50 to $29.00 a gross thats 12 dozen or 144 blades. You can mix sizes within the same type of blades. I get all my blades there.

And I buy most all my blades here:

Sloan's Woodshop - " The Scroll Saw Store "

They sell awesome Olson blades at great prices. Every order I have ever made has come quickly just as I ordered it.
