Let me get this right - you bought her a belt sander for your anniversary??!! Lucky gal! Will you talk to my husband and give him some pointers? I need (want?) a spindle sander....

It's not a man thing, I am hopeless, too.

I have forgotten birthdays, anniversaries, not only hubby's, but the kids and the rest of the family, too! I used to come up with amazing excuses, but I am so reknowned for being a feather-head where dates are concerned, people now accept that cards arrive one or two days late. (I always seem to remember when I write the actual date, or check my diary at work). I get them wrong, on occasion as well. When my grandmother was alive, I panicked and arranged for huge bunches of flowers to be delivered (two days late, I thought). It was actually one month early - and I did this on three separate occasions.

You just cannot be good at everything, can you? Well, can you???

G'day Sue,
I'm glad we're not married, the family would have disowned us by now. LOL

Sometimes, I reckon I should just chuck an extra present in with the Chrissy pressies, and write on the outside, "OPEN ON YOUR BIRTHDAY".

When I had my own business, in another lifetime, It was not unusual for Dad to give me a ring saying, "It's our anniversary today, could you ring a florist and get the Old Girl some flowers"

Congratulations Trout, only 13 down and lifetime to go.

Default Mere Beginning!

Congrats Trout, but you're just starting. Sometime in July it will be our 49th. And to each other too! I don't suppose you picked up anything extra at the grocery store, did you?
