Default Words of advice

Haven't been able to do any cutting lately. But, then again, it is hotter than all get out in the garage.

Advice:
If someone tells you, "Let's take the wallpaper down and paint the walls." Run, hide, emigrate to Farovistan or pay somebody else to do it. What ever they charge it would be worth it.

Earl,
Glad I'm not in your shoes, got lucky and married a woman that hates wallpaper.
Only problem is I'm doing our bedroom walls with a plaster "faux" finish over the drywall, and I'll still have to prime and paint afterwards.

I feel your pain Earl. About the shop anyway. Its 116 on the porch right now and supposta be the same tomorrow. I can keep my shop about 95 without AC which is perfect for me. But thankfully we don't have your humidity.

Being a former contractor, the rule is you can only remove wallpaper between a temp. of 63.4 and 63.5 degrees. Never worked for me but it might for you. Good luck.

Tom

Tom, I am just next door. calif. and it is only 113 ouside. and my shope is 92 inside, not bad, that is with the doors open. only the vinale doors inbetween the quad room and shop. I can live with that. lets see when it gets to 115. as long as it doesn't get over 120 inside the shop. I will feel safe in putting laquors and other oils and paints in there. I also put some double stick tape on the roof of the cabnets. and then some foil, and bubbale rap. sheets. and it is only 75 in the cabnets. yaaa. things are looking up for me.
gosh Earl. maybe all you have to do is just peel the papper off. in this heat. but if you need help. a steamer will help. like you need more heat. good luck. your friend Evie
