Default I Hate Computers

Have you ever navigated through cyber_ell without a mouse? Let me tell you, it ain't easy. I've probably hit the tab key a zillion times. The arrow keys twenty zillion times, gotten lost too numerous to mention. Seems I lost my plug & play. Know what it controls? yep, the mouse! Ever try to send email without the mouse? It's ctrl enter. Don't forget it!! Sue Mey even got one, that I know of, blank emails from me.

WEll, Evie, I went to the chiropractor and she has magic fingers! My sciatic nerve was tighter than a rubber band. It's almost stretched back to normal length and I can't believe the difference.

I can't believe my grandson is 1 year old already. I have some pics, but since I don't have plug & play, I can't d/l them to here. If I could, it would probably take me years to get them on here anyway.

Well, Gota go to see if I can figure out some other things. Hope no one in here is in the way of the floods in the midwest.

Betty

G'day Betty,
I'm with you all the way.
Bloody things really give me the dac-a-doos. Spose I'm just not used to having something that I can't fix, or more to the point, fix with a bigger hammer LOL

When I bought the beast I use now I took my old one and showed it what a 10lb sledge hammer can do. Did not do any good, but when I have problems withthis one I can bring back the image of that computer and laugh about it.

If this happens to you agian there is a built in mouse / keyboard function that you can turn on from the control pannel. It is part of the accessability functions and basically used the number pad to move the cursor. It does work although it is a tad bit slower than using a normal mouse but as an emergency mouse it works nice.

Will8989 you may want to try a computer forum for help in your dilemma.
Here is a very good one with knowledgeable people willing to help.
You will have to join to ask questions, but it is well worth it.
Just a suggestion.

Next time your nerve or back muscles lock up try a tennis ball . I have severe back problems . When stressed ,I place the tennis ball on one cheek then the other , working all the way up the spine . I find the hard tennis balls work best .For my neck I use 2 . One to push the other . Most times it works . Cheers. Roger

Betty I know exsacaly,,,,, it has been a triale and air for me too. if I didn't love this forum so much I would have trashed the Pc and all its stuff along time ago. I used to click on the little box on top to inlardg the picture. and WHAM I couldn't get it back to close it. didnt know about the little boxes at the bottom to close stuff. phoowy. and well you know.
I have to tell you. alot of folks bash going to a chiropractor. but every time I have ever been to one. they work miracals for me. setting at a pc. can realy mess up the back and sciatic neve. I try to always sit low in to the grown, and keep my feet up on something to keep my knees up. that seems to help me. also sleep with a pillow under the knees in bed. believe it not, stress can cause lots of musale desorders. when you hear some one say, your a pain in my neck. it is for real. if I could afford it. I would go to a chiropractor all the time. hope you solve your mouse problem soon. for I would miss you alot. your friend Evie
