Unhappy Well more bad weather here...

....now its flooding dangers .On 5/26 I had posted about the tornadoes here and now we're facing record flood stages.(worse than 1993)
The levy system did o.k. then but a section let go on the west side of the river so some areas started flooding this afternoon.
My wife and I live on the east side of the river and are on a hill so we should be o.k.
It seems like every other day it rains so the ground is so d@ng saturated the water has no where to go.
The mayor had the downtown businesses do a voluntary evacuation so people could get home they had to close almost all bridges in town .The one near our house was one of the only ones kept open. The train bridge in downtown W'loo broke in half and it has been here around 100 yrs.
Really hope the folks down south are ready for alot of water coming their way.Supposed to have chances of rain the next three days.
Take care everyone and thanks for "listening".

Glad to hear you're doing Ok. Seems like some folks just couldn't win a kick in a stampede.
I have been watching some of the flooding on the news, not good.
If only you could send some of that rain our way

Stay safe and stay dry

O.K. I will post pics .
It was partly cloudy and low humidity around 85 degrees today.
Talk to my brother his neighborhood has started to flood and he's been sandbagging all day,but he says he is high enough so it shouldn't hit his house(praying it doesn't).
Goodnight ,be back tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear about all of the flooding there. The weather here has been rather interesting as well. It has been unseasonably cool here and we are even still getting snow in the mountians. May even get some frost in the high mountian valleys tonight. Makes it kind of hard to get the garden to grow when it is staying so cold. Anyway, still not as bad as all of the flooding you are getting in the mid west. Hope things will dry out soon for you.
