Default Dale, I hope you haven't floated away..

Dale, I've been hearing all day about the flooding in Wisconsin. I hope your family is on safe, dry ground.

Betty

My thoughts are with you too Dale. I hope everything is alright, and that you and the family are out of harms way. Get in touch when you can.

We are ok, thanks for your concern!! I had a 3 day weekend.I had big plans , I have a couple of projects that were sent to me to tackle right away, and I was off friday with big plans to get to em tackled this weekend. By friday afternoon, I came down with a nasty summer cold, havent felt so miserable in a looong time. I spent Saturday dodging severe thunderstorms, and almost constant tornado alarms in my daughters garage in my lawn chair. She was having her housewarming party. It was 88 degrees, I lay there wearing a sweatshirt, and covered with a sweater, and still freezing cold. Sunday was more of the same, except I was at home bouncing between the couch and the bed, still in the midst of torrential downpours and tornado warnings. One touched down about a mile away, and three more within 10 miles, but none too horrible. Theres plenty of wetlands around here now.Even a few houses floated away down the river.Thank god for sump pumps, or I would be in a world of hurt here!
I am finally starting to feel a little better, but I'm so far behind with everything now. With 4H kids coming every night, and my weekend a total loss, I will be moving into the doghouse tomorrow night most likely (anniversary.yikes!!!). I am going to have to do the flowers and a card thing I guess. We cant really go out anyways though, because 4H comittments, but I guess thats what I deserve for being a procrastinator. This is the first Ive been online since a little bit friday morning, theres wayyy to many new posts on here to catch up with, but I does feel really good to see I'm being thought of. Thank you all, this is such a great family here!!!
