Default Update on neck surgery.

Went in on Monday at 1:00 P.M. and was released the next day at 11:00 A.M. Everything went very well, no physical therapy required. Fused #3 through #7 vertebrae, installed little cage for some material to help fuse the bones, and installed a plate with 6 screws. My wife had similar surgery 25 years ago and was in for 6 days. Amazing what they can do any more. Thanks for all the prayers.

Thats great news Merle (Haggard32130) you will be back to the saw in no time, just don't start doing cartwheels on the lawn just yet.

Merle,

So good to hear that all went well. (it must have if you do not need any rehab)

Hope you can get back to making sawdust soon...but not too soon, you need to heal a bit first.

Here's hoping for a very speedy recovery!

Thanks again all, That should have been the second day for release. Lost track of time with the pain meds.
